Easter Decor and Fun Stuff

I love decorating for the Seasons/Holidays!  I was especially giddy to decorate for Easter this year, given all the fun ideas and printables I keep finding on Pinterest.  Here is a quick look at some of my Easter/Spring Decor...

Printables...

Awesome "Egg" Garland by my friend Lis...

Bunny and Eggs...

Quick and cheap last minute "Teacher Gifts" for Matthew's teachers...

Matthew colored eggs over at Grandma's house this year, and he was so proud to show me his work!

I also quickly made "Bird's Nests" with the boys this year as well as a fun treat...

Tulip Pics '12

Well, I didn't get the best Tulip pics this year.  They were taken in haste, after we got back from our trip to GA. Also, man did the tulips ever bloom early this year!  It was such a mild and warm March, they were up and fully bloomed by the end of month (They usually don't bloom until mid April!).  However, the boys cuteness maked up for my lack of photography skills...;)

Mini Spring Break

We had a great "long weekend" at the end of March/beginning of April visiting my family in GA.  I would call it a "mini" spring break if you will.  We arrived on my Mom's birthday, and the entire family went out to celebrate at Glen Ella Inn...

Here are a couple pics of "Grammy" with all four of her grandkids...

Happy Birthday Mom!!

We took a little hike up to Minihaha Falls...so fun and beautiful!

Finally getting around to a quick post of Matthew's 4th Birthday "Monster" Party!  He loved every minute of it.  It was a fun party for one little boy who loves "monsters"! :)

Monster Birthday Party Decor

I had such a blast planning Matthew's 4th birthday party!  Thanks to Pinterest, I found such great ideas for the decorations and themes for a monster party.  I have to give a big shout out to my Mom who helped me with all the "hand mit" monsters, and the Kleenex utensil boxes.  I loved how all the details and colors came together.  Such a fun party for a 4 year old boy who loves monsters!

Some of the "hand mit" monsters...I found most of them at the Dollar Store, Walmart, and Target...

A view of the table.  The "cake stand" is just a box from the basement with black and white chevron fabric over it...

The awesome cake by my friend Kynda!  The top part is chocolate with cookies and cream filling, and the bottom layer is vanilla...

A close-up of the monsters on the cake...

One of the printable place mats...

I used a circular punch out on scrapbook paper for more color on the table...

Found these cute monster ice cream or cereal bowls...

I even had water bottle labels!

The kitchen table.  Notice the black and white striped straws to go with the theme?  Loving all the fun straws you can get right now...

Closer view of the Kleenex monster utensil boxes...so fun!

Ready to party! (I love how Matthew looks so thrilled in this picture..)
